The Spanish Government will at the objecta of the concession with ships of the navy as far as the service will perimit.

A tender hus been accepted from Mr. W. T. Heuley, of North Woolwich, which provides for the manufacture and laying of tre Eables, and for the erection of the overland wires, within 12 months, a a cost of £29,000. Until the submarine cale has been completely laid, £tă,000 yet unpaid, and of this sum #25,000 will rem in the Company's hands until the line has been maintained in good working order for W dayâ.

The contract at provides for the payment of interest, at the rate of 5 per eout, per anzin, upon the paid-up capital by the contractor. syable ball-grariy until the opening of the line, and the contractor takes £70,000 in folly paid up shares.
